The Name:
Candy - it was a nickname I grew up with.
Yumi - Came from the nickname/pen name I gave myself on forums, Yumizo. P.S Yumizo came from the combination of Yumi and Miso soup. Just so if you’re wondering, here’s the hiragana for it. ( ゆみぞ ) And well just forget the kanji, Yumizo probably made no sense.

LIFE SPAN: June 6th 2013 ~ June 3rd 2014
LAYOUT: Gee almost a year! Seeing that I get bored of my site layout & name almost immediately, this lasting for a year is something to celebrate, well kinda. The layout is candy-themed with a hint of Paris feel to it to match my likes. I have been obsessed with the colors pink and coral recently and ornamental prints had always caught my interests and liking. The green tea frappucino was added to indicate one of my favorite drink of choice. This layout was made by Mayra from Punk-rose/Coral-reef, she’s an amazing person that makes wonderful resources and I’ve been looking up towards her amazing graphic designs and resources for quite a long time, If I did not recall wrongly, the first ever texture that I’ve stumbled across to practice on the layer modes were made by Mayra. To be honest, I really wanted to continue my blogging journey with this layout but sadly, its just quite non-smartphone-friendly haha.
VERSION: 1.0 Version KHR Tribute
LIFE SPAN: March 21st 2013 ~ June 6th 2013
LAYOUT: In memory of the manga/anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn that I had been devoted to for more or less 6 years now, this layout serves as a tribute to the anime series that I have learned so much from and made new friends from the fandom. Hence for the first layout of my current blog/graphics site, I really wanted this to be the layout. One more thing, I’m really happy that Laura designed the layout for me, her layouts are always gorgeous and all her layout styles are really my style. So Laura, if you’re reading this, thank you!
My xanga needs me to upgrade, but I don’t want to
I missed blogging, would like to start wordpress. You have any ideas in mind?
@Papa - I miss reading your blogposts too! So that’s the reason why your blog disappeared! I’m using wordpress now but I’m using the self-hosted one which I think should be similar to the standard wordpress(?) and I think its pretty good c: I’ve also noticed that quite a number of bloggers out there also uses wordpress, and so far I don’t have any issues with wordpress except for the part where I can’t upgrade my current version since some plugins would stop working :/ For simplicity of usage I think wordpress is good too :3 By the way, are you able to export your xanga blogposts? D: I miss all my old blogposts but closing one blog after another meant losing everything
